Thank You Letters
This week we are working on writing Thank You letters. We are beginning to go through the writing process. Together as a class we wrote a thank you letter to our school janitor, Santiago. The kids did a great job!

Weekly Update
Hello Everyone!
Thank you to all of the parents who went with us to the pumpkin patch! It was a great success.
This week we are learning about addition, push and pull, writing Thank You notes, and Texas. Please ask your child about what they are learning in class.
Homework-
Math homework will be coming home each day this week.
The decodable reader may stay at home. Please read this with your child.
Upcoming activities:
October 31st: Storybook Character Day/ Celebration
Veterans Day: We will be writing letters to Veterans. If you know of anyone we could write to please send me their name and address.

Welcome Parents to my blog!
I faced some delays getting started but hope to be able to update the blog now on a regular basis. So far this year has gone so smoothly. I would like to thank everyone who has helped out so far in our class. I would not be able to accomplish all that I have so far this year without your help. This class is a great group of kids! I am looking forward to the wonderful oppourtunities we will have to grow and learn together this year.
