Weekly Update

October is just flying by!

This week is very busy.  Below is information about the activities going on.

 Red Ribbon Week.

• Monday- wear red
• Tuesday- Sock it to drugs (wear crazy socks)
• Wednesday- Team up against drugs (wear team jersey/shirts)
• Thursday- Hats off to drugs (wear a hat)
• Friday- I am a Jean-us (wear jeans)

Friday the 28th is our school carnival.  Our booth the is basketball shoot. Thank you in advance to everyone who signed up for a time. 

On Monday the 31st the Storybook Character Day.  We will have a parade in the morning, share our projects, and have a celebration in the afternoon. 

This week we are learning about:

• Social Studies- Local government
• Science- magnets
• ELAR- writing to describe, asking questions to understand, singular and plural nouns
• Math- addition and subtraction

Spelling Words: red, step, bed, let, ten, sled, yes, get
High Frequence Words: pictures, draw, write, after, read, was
